The Heartland Quests are rather closely tied to the Main Quest for Dalaya.
Note: Picking a Faction is a serious choice as, as of right now there is no faction flopping, and The Blackscale and Silver Crown Factions will usually render you KoS to the other side. The Council of Innovation seems to keep you as neutral as you can be (Dubious).
