First quest to gain entrance into Halls of Betrayal. You need to have Gemstone of the Fifth Seeker to start this quest. You can skip talking to Vrik in the Refuge and go direct to Emerald Jungle.

Find Vrik the Sly (Dreadlands  at 382, 8875, 1068  • Refuge) .

You say, 'Hail, Vrik the Sly'

Vrik the Sly says, 'Hey again <Player Name>. Keep that intelligence coming. Thus far you've returned <#> unique writings. I know more are out there.'

Vrik the Sly says, 'Hey again <Player Name>. I have something else you can help me with. Meet me in the Emerald Jungle among the refugees. I'll be by the lake by some tangleweed.'

You say, 'Hail, Vrik the Sly'

Vrik the Sly says, 'I'm glad you’ve come <Player Name>, it seems one of my agents has gotten themselves into a bit of a tight spot. He's embedded in a group of Mercenaries in the Emerald Jungle. He sent a warning that he thinks they’re onto him and his cover is about to be blown. I need you to find him and extract him. If they catch him they’ll torture him and the Refuge would be in peril.'

You say, 'How do I find him?'

Vrik the Sly says, 'He's in hiding according to his message. The easiest way to find him is show him you’re on the same team. Find the mercenaries, stir up some trouble, and when he appears give him this.'

You receive Silver Co`dair Coin.

Journal Text: Vrik the Sly has asked me to find one of his agents among the Ikildian Mercenaries in Emerald Jungle. Give him the coin.

On the death of An Ikild mercenary (The Emerald Jungle  •) , Agent Zurkiz (unknown zone  • unknown loc) has a chance to spawn. He will be KoS. Recommend killing your current targets before handing him the coin.

Give Agent Zurkiz:

• Silver Co`dair Coin

Agent Zurkiz says, 'So you're my extraction? You don’t look like much. But beggars can't be choosers. Let's get out of here before..'

Note: A group of mobs will run up and kill Agent Zurkiz, and then try to do the same to you.

Mercenary Lieutenant Kamzet shouts 'Kill the spy and retrieve that scroll you incompetent idiots!'

Note: Richt click on Agent Zurkiz corpse will give you purple text that you can click on when you have them targeted.

[D1] Search the body

Agent Zurkiz's corpse reaches his shaky, bloody arm into his vest. A moment later he pulls out a faded scroll and places it into your hand.

You receive Runed Scroll.

Journal Text: You have rescued the embedded agent.

Note: Plundering the corpse seems to just give you coin. You will then have to go back to Vrik the Sly to get another Silver Co`dair Coin and spawn Agent Zurkiz once again.

Return to Vrik the Sly (The Emerald Jungle at ?  • Razadian Camp) .

You say, 'Hail, Vrik the Sly'

Vrik the Sly says, 'You must have misplaced the token I gave you, here's another one.'

You receive Silver Co`dair Coin.
