Chromatic DMG

Overview

Chromatic damage is a special damage modifier that appears on equipment.

Effect on Weapon Damage

When on a weapon, the chromatic damage stat is added to that weapon's ratio. This added damage from chromatic ignores AC but can be mitigated by the mob's lowest resistance. As a result, in general this added damage is applied only part of the time (depending on how strongly the mob mitigates its lowest resist). Chromatic damage on other gear does not effect weapon damage.

Effect on Spell Damage

Chromatic damage is currently not on any piece of equipment other than weapons.
