Cowardly Strike

This is a new type of monster attack found in the updated Cyrtho Malath zone. Ysthar Blackwatchers now use this ability.

It seems to function like Rampage, striking one player or pet on the aggro list with a melee attack every time it triggers, but will also hit at range. Unlike Rampage, it does not target the next person on the aggro list or even the first person on aggro list, rather, it seems to target the player or pet with the lowest AC / HP. This can be problematic, especially if it targets a healer, because once you get hit with one you tend to keep getting hit until the mob dies.

Creatures with Cowardly Strike:

• An Ikild thief
• An ysthar blackwatcher
• Rampage
