Heat

Heat is Generated when rogues fail a pickpocket and gets noticed or if they get noticed while trying to pick the lock of a locked door. Heat is supposed to go down over time, however what the rate is currently unknown. Heat does not decay while offline.

Too much heat will cause you to become KOS temporarily with and only with the Guards across the different cities.

You can view your heat status with #stats.

This can be caused by drawing heat from a single character Guards are not KOS at this point.

Guards are not KOS. Decay to next lower level in ~5 minutes?

A good deal of heat

Guards are not KOS. Decay to next lower level in ~10 minutes.

Too much heat

Guards are KOS. Decay to next lower level in ~15 minutes.

Far too much heat

Guards, bankers are KOS. Decay to next lower level in ~40 minutes.
