HoT

Abbreviation for Heal over Time. Increases the amount of HP regeneration per tick. Chloroplast is an example of an HoT spell.

Targetable HoT's are Cleric and Shaman only and are generally more mana efficient than a big heal of the same level; however, instead of healing all at once, healing is divided up into 4 'ticks' 6 seconds apart
