Malath discovered the secrets of creation, becoming a god. After he was powerful enough to shape creation, he made his own demi-plane, The Lands of Magic. He dwelled there until The Four took notice of his growing power, and destroyed The Lands of Magic. His children as well as portions of his realm survived this destruction.
