You say, 'Hail, Assistant Mechanic Woozl'

Assistant Mechanic Woozl says, 'Hello there. I would talk, but this is the last lamp lighting clockwork left in all of Underhill, and he just malfunctioned! I need to fix him before all the lights go dark.'

You say, 'Why not just light the lamps yourself?'

Assistant Mechanic Woozl says, 'Because lighting lamps is *boring*. Do you know how many stupid light gems there are in Underhill? And they all have to be recharged once every other day! What are clockworks for if not to spare us from that sort of tedium?'

You say, 'I bet I could do that stupid clockworks job.'

Assistant Mechanic Woozl says, 'Of course you could do it! It is a completely trivial job! Boring and horrible with lots of walking and searching and... just generally bad. The worst part is, if I do not get this thing fixed, they very well might put me on lighting duty. So please, let me get to work on fixing this.'

You say, 'What if I did the lighting for you while you fixed the clockwork?'

Assistant Mechanic Woozl says, 'Hah! You want the job? It is absolutely yours! All you have to do is take the handy dandy Lamplighter tool and touch it to each of the light gems in Underhill. Oh yeah, here is a Lamp Lighters gem too, which will grow in brightness as you explore and light up the city.'

You receive Underhill Lamp Gem.

You say, 'Okay. Where do I get the lamplighter tool?

Assistant Mechanic Woozl rips off the malfunctioning clockwork's hand in a shower of sparks and then tosses it to you, 'This should do it. Remember to have both the Gem and Lamplighter Arm on you when you are recharging gems. Have fun!'

You receive Mechanic Lamplighter Arm.

Note: You must explore the city and click on each green gem light. Incidentally, there are 51 lamps in the zone, giving room for one error. Clicking on a lamp you have previously lit gives you the message 'You have already recharged this gem light.'

You use the Mechanic Lamplighter Arm to recharge the gem light.

You gain 50 experience!!

After lighting 15, and 25 lamps:

Your Lamp Gem glows more brightly. It feels like it is growing in power.

Your faction standing with Mechanic's Guild has gotten better!

Your faction standing with The Underschool has gotten better!

Your faction standing with The Overseers has gotten better!

Your faction standing with The Underchurch has gotten better!

After lighting 35 lamps:

The gnomes of Underhill began to truly notice your efforts on their behalf. This place would be pitch dark without you!

After lighting 45 lamps:

Your Lamp Gem glows more brightly. It seems almost full of energy. It feels like it is growing in power.

You gain 1000 experience!!

After lighting 50 lamps:

Your Lamp Gem beams with power. You do not think it could grow any more bright! You should return to Assistant Mechanic Woozl.

You receive the final Underhill Lamp Gem!

You gain 1000 experience!!

You say, 'Hail, Assistant Mechanic Woozl'

Assistant Mechanic Woozl says, 'Whoa! You got them all! All of Underhill is lit up thanks to you. I hope you like that Lamp Gem - I bet it is pretty powerful after all that work.'
