The Iron Dead faction might arguably be unclean descendants of the original inhabitants of [[The Rust]], they are basically just like you and me, if a little more distrusting, and have robotic servants which seem to be animated by unnatural means as known to the necromancers.

Among their number are necromancers, robots, and undead.  Killing the [[Free Machines]] raises their faction.  Killing them raises faction with [[The Rust (Faction)|The Rust]].
