Free Machines

The Free Machines are Robots that appear to have evolved true sentience. They serve no masters but themselves.

They are one of the three factions of The Rust. Killing members of The Rust raises their faction. Killing them raises faction with The Iron Dead.

Killing the machines in the western caves in Heartland Plateau also lowers faction with them.
